Good Morning and Good Weekend to Everyone
I really really hope that each and everyone of you who make The Mill SV their workout destination, whether that be in a class or personal training realize I couldn't be where I am at all without each and everyone of you. I know I say it all the time...but I mean it!!!
We cannot always control what happens to us in life, but we CAN always control our actions and our attitudes. Every day we have the opportunity to choose positivity or negativity. When we get up and hustle and work towards building the life we want, even and especially when circumstances are not ideal, we are winning. We are always changing, and it is our actions that determine our direction.🖤🙏🏼
Day to day work life is so exciting and extremely fast paced. We work around the clock to continue to grow the business and evolve as human beings and professionals. Physical human interaction is so damn powerful and it most certainly drives me to continue to move forward and motivates me to work harder. I value every moment that I have with every single one of you every day!
Never thought I’d become one of “those people” who work, work, work until mere shreds of free time and joy remain in their lives. But at any moment, all of us are one step away from being one of the “others” in anything we do, and I’ve crossed that line with my job.
There’s this illusion that many of us, myself included, are always having fun, and work is dreamy and perfect even when it’s hard. What I am trying to say is I am exhausted!!
The grind is inevitable but even on your hardest days where the world is pushing you left when you’re trying to go right and when people just suck- the uphill climb always feels a little easier when you know your why, your purpose and the layer underneath the work is and will always keep bringing you back because it’s what you love. So take a deep breath- goals will be reached- and when the world seems to be pushing you in one direction... look around for a moment and understand why.
I think life is about being around people who love you exactly as you are, but also support growth and change. It’s about holding onto the ones who appreciate you more and more every day, and go through the hardest of times by your side with a wry smile and silver-lining wisdom. Life is about the people who see your successes as a reason to celebrate, not a moment for jealousy. Life is not about how much money you make, how successful or popular you are, but how rich your life is. Rich with a few close friendships, with love, with laughter, with experiences, and with the times that were hard but made you who you are today. Not a moment goes by that I don’t appreciate each and everyone of you be it in the thick of laughter, a hard workout, advice, or hard choices. I sincerely hope all of you have a few of the really good ones in your life. I hope you can look around and feel the love from your family, friends, animal friends, and of course, also feel the love for yourself.
I feel like life is passing me by as I drowned in work. I haven' t had any real time off in about 3 years and I am going to take a few days. So with that being said, I am going to close the gym for a few days. Lili has to travel and I think it is a good time to take a break and it hit the refresh button. take everything less seriously for a few days and ignore thoughts in the back of my mind that say “if I work all the time no one can say I’m a struggling start up.
Because I know that no matter what I do, some people will appreciate who I am, and some will not, and I really just need a break.✨ so for the days of
April 16th thru April 20th The Mill will be closed.
If you are signed up for any classes. I will remove you from my end and punches will not be removed from your cards. Each and every day we have to hold ourselves accountable for the promises we make to
our clients our friends and our family. I promise I will come back from a few days off renewed and refreshed and ready to kick your butts.
All things worth having take making a promise and doing our best every day to keep them. I only want to be the best I can be for those around me.
